A performance-oriented option for backcountry hiking or climbing Fjallraven Abisko Trekking Tights are an excellent balance of mobility-promoting stretch and hard-wearing durability.

The main body of the tights is a dense blend of polyamide and elastane that delivers a close stretch fit. Heavy-duty reinforcements at the rear and knees bolster durability and provide some moisture protection. The stretch waistband does have belt loops and a zippered fly with snap closure (belt not included). A gusseted crotch and low-profile flatlock seams further enhance fit and comfort. Other features include zippered hand pockets a map pocket and a smaller zippered leg pocket.

Fjallraven Abisko Trekking Tights are available in a range of sizes.

It could have been my go-to hiking tights

Likes

- tough material and quality build - thoughtful design, with well laid out placement of pockets and support materials in (stress) high stretch areas. - nice looking garment

Dislikes

- the fit does not work for me...I have many Fjallraven hiking pants that fit me perfectly in EU size 46 however, in these tights I was a “tweener” as SM was tight on me and MED was loose...seems that sizing was made for more athletic builds than mine, I am 5’11” tall and weigh about 140 Lbs. with thin runner legs.

Quality and fabric is top notch.

Likes

The seams and knee/butt material are bulletproof, great pockets and zippers. These fit true to size, SLIGHTLY on the smaller side. I buy L, Im 32-33
