Description

Hybrid insulation provides top-of-the-mountain warmth: The jacket is heavily padded with lofty, compressible 800-fill ethically-sourced down insulation. Box-wall channels ensure that the down is evenly distributed to deliver consistent warmth and eliminate cold spots. To enhance performance even in damp or wet conditions, Fjallraven strategically uses premium PrimaLoft Silver synthetic insulation inside the neck and over the shoulders as synthetic fill better retains its insulating qualities when moisture is present.
Exterior fabrication enhances weather-resistance and durability: The exterior and lining of the jacket is made from a wind-resistant and water-resistant recycled polyamide. The fabric is lightweight but also surprisingly durable. The shoulders, elbows, cuffs, and hem are reinforced with double layers of fabric to bolster durability in those high-wear areas.
Performance-oriented feature set: The insulated, adjustable hood extends protective coverage and is helmet compatible. A tall collar helps insulate your neck and chin. The two-way full-length front zipper allows for venting and convenient access if you are belaying. Elastic cuffs and an adjustable hem help seal out drafts and keep in warmth. Two deep zippered front pockets give hands refuge from the cold while two internal stuff pockets are perfect for gloves or other items you want protected from the elements.
