The high-performance Fjallraven Bergtagen 130 Insulation Jacket delivers weather-resistance and maximum warmth for mountaineering and challenging conditions. Its innovative synthetic insulation promises confident dependability even in harsh, wet weather.

Description

Top-of-the-mountain warmth you can count-on: The jacket is heavily padded with lofty but compressible 130g PrimaLoft Black synthetic insulation, a recycled polyester fill that resists compression to ensure an even distribution of warmth. Unlike down fill, it retains its ability to insulate even in wet or damp climates. The insulation is produced through PrimaLoft's P.U.R.E manufacturing technology which greatly produces carbon emissions relative to standard practices.
Exterior fabrication adds weather-protection while maintaining lightweight packability: The shell fabric is a lightweight, weather-resistant, and durable Pertex recycled polyester. Though there are no taped seams to make the jacket completely waterproof, the exterior does do an excellent job of blocking wind, shedding precipitation, and protecting the insulation nestled beneath it. The lining is also water-resistant and allows the jacket to slide easily over top of other layers.
Performance-oriented feature set: The insulated, adjustable hood extends protective coverage and is helmet compatible. A tall collar helps insulate your neck and chin. The two-way full-length front zipper allows for venting and convenient access if you are belaying. Fully-adjustable cuffs and an adjustable hem help seal out drafts and keep in warmth. Two deep zippered front pockets give hands refuge from the cold while internal stuff pockets are perfect for gloves or other items you want protected from the elements.
