Lightly insulated for everyday warmth the Fjallraven Women's Kiruna Padded Parka offers durable wind- and water-resistant construction and an extended length for a flattering style that performs year after year.

The jacket's G-1000 fabric a blend of polyester and cotton is incredibly durable. It's highly abrasion-resistant UV-protective and so tightly woven that it even fends off insects. Its dense weave makes it highly wind-resistant and depending on how much wax is applied it can be made fully windproof. NOTE that additional Fjallraven Greenland Wax is sold separately and the jacket does require periodic waxing for optimal protective performance. The wax is easy to apply allows you to customize the level of protection and even gives each jacket a unique aesthetic over time. The synthetic polyester insulation is body-mapped giving you more warmth in the body to help hold in core heat and less in the sleeves for mobility and breathability. The large fixed hood is adjustable for better visibility.

Other features include a two-way full-length front zipper with interior and exterior protective flaps and press buttons an adjustment at the back of the waist and buttoned sleeve cuff adjustments. The jacket has two handwarmer pockets a chest pocket and an interior pocket all of which are zippered to keep your essentials secure.
