Description

The versatile Fjallraven Ulvo 23 day pack is constructed of highly weather-resistant, recycled materials. It has a large opening, thoughtful organizational features, and balances function and style to carry equally well on a commute or during a day of hiking.

The pack's backpanel and integrated shoulder straps employ air mesh to provide ventilation and cushioned comfort. A sternum strap helps to dial in fit and side compression straps ensure that the contents of the pack are cinched down and secure.

The panel-loading pack's main compartment is easily accessed through a wide-opening zipper. A smaller zippered exterior pocket keeps small items close at hand. An interior pocket has built-in organization features and a padded sleeve safely stows a laptop (up to 15"). The pack also has 2-side stretch bottle pockets and an attachment loop for a blinking safety light (not included).

Although this isn’t the first pack I would grab when going out for a hike, this pack has been a game changer for commuting back and forth to work. The interior liner and large opening make it easy to wipe up any lunch spills and also prevents water bottle condensation from saturating the bag, which in turn keeps my laptop and papers dry. My 32 oz Nalgene conveniently fits in either of the side pockets, and I don’t have to worry about getting caught by surprise in the elements thanks to the water-resistant outer fabric. I especially like the Mountain Blue color and minimalist design, as it is easy to keep organized while lugging my work articles to and from.

Enjoying It, Comfortable Bag

Good comfortable bag. Using it a camera/town bag in conjunction with a photo bag insert, which it is doing well. Fabric is supposed to be pretty waterproof, but haven't tested it yet.

Dislikes

Could use some more organization to separate items. Touch expensive for the features but does appear to be quality made. Seems to be common for this manufacturer. Also, compression straps are on the smaller side so I am not sure I would trust them to do double duty and carry a tripod.
