A suede leather upper looks great and offers excellent abrasion-resistance while the G-Dry construction provides waterproof protection. The shoe has a roomy fit for out-of-the-box comfort on long hikes and treks.
The shoe employs Garmont's fit-enhancing Anatomically Directed Design (ADD) which reflects the natural asymmetrical build of the human foot. Asymmetrical lacing allows you to dial in fit and alleviate uncomfortable pressure points that could otherwise cause hot spots or blisters.
The A.C.E. (Adaptive Cushioning Enhancer) sole system with a bi-density EVA midsole supports the heel for stability and offers cushioning on the sole of the foot for comfort. The proprietary rubber sole has a large contact area at the toe and heel for grip and traction in varied trail conditions. Garmont's Heel Lock technology helps to snug the back of the shoe to the foot to avoid rubbing and blisters. A rubber toe cap protects against kicked rocks or roots.
