The Granite Gear Nimbus Trace Access 70 offers greater load-carrying capacity and additional organizational features while still weighing less than you'd expect of a heavy-hauler. An excellent balance of weight and performance, the Nimbus Trace Access 70 comfortably carries loads of up to 60 pounds while weighing in at right around 4 pounds.
Made of a reinforced composite material, the Nimbus Trace Access 70's 3D Topoflex framesheet is ready-made for heavy hauling. The streamlined, contoured framesheet balances rigid support with flexible response, allowing the Nimbus Trace Access 70 to mimic the way the back naturally flexes and move with you while keeping your load balanced and secure. A pivoting, cushioned hipbelt helps to further balance the weight of the pack without limiting mobility. The Advection backpanel is strategically padded to provide cushioning and comfort while allowing for heat transfer and breathability. Adjustable padded shoulder straps, an adjustable sternum strap and load-lifter straps combine to further optimize fit.
The Regular torso size of the Nimbus Trace Access 70 has 4270 cubic inches of storage capacity and the Short torso size offers 3870 cubic inches. Lending extreme versatility, a well-designed external and internal compression strap system allows you to securely cinch down gear. Underneath a floating and removable lid, an extendible spindrift collar protects the interior of the Nimbus Trace Access 70's massive main compartment. The collar rolls down and cinches closed while overlapping, integrated buckles strap down to accommodate loads of varying sizes. When removed from the Nimbus Trace Access 70, the lid converts into a streamlined hip pack for day hiking and summit assaults.
A large vertical mesh pocket on the front of the packbag offers voluminous storage for clothes or other gear. On either side of this pocket are the dual zippers that allow for the quick front access to the packbag that gives the Nimbus Trace Access 70 its name. Two large stretch mesh pockets on either side of the Nimbus Trace Access 70 safely stow water bottles and two zippered stretch mesh pockets higher on the packbag keep essentials handy and aid in load organization outside the main compartment. A built-in tube exit port and a narrow lined internal pocket make the Nimbus Trace Access 70 compatible with hydration systems (sold separately). The external compression system, various tool loops and reflective daisy-chain shoulder attachment points provide numerous places to lash additional gear to the outside of the pack.
Constructed of high tenacity 100D and 210D Nylon Cordura, the Granite Gear Nimbus Trace Access 70 is available in your choice of colors and torso length sizes.
