Great pack

So many features you don’t see with other packs. Also you save a lot of money buy not having to buy a rain cover for it and the detachable small day pack. Great value

Love this bag

I bought this bag for my girlfriend. This bag is basically the female version of the Baltoro, which I have and love. This bag is designed to be comfortableand adjustable for all size users and is just as accommodating with its storage and features.
Dislikes
It would be nice if it was slightly lighter, but for most applications it’s just about a perfect bag.

They don't make them like this anymore.

My wife used this recently on a 2 day trip. The straps are more comfortable than most packs. She also like the lumbar support. Plenty of space and pockets. We used the built in day pack/hydration pack carrier and it worked great. The front of the back has a zip up nylon? pocket vs. a mesh pocket like a lot of other packs. I don't feel like the mesh front pocket will hold up over time. You can also unzip it like a suitcase which we found to be very convenient. This pack just feels like it will hold up over time vs. packs that have a lot of mesh pockets all over. Another great feature is the angled water bottle pocket that you can pull out. You can actually reach your bottle without taking off your pack.
Dislikes
Still has those mesh side pockets. I feel like those are going to rip sooner or later.

Comfortable and efficient pack

The suspension on the pack is great; it puts the load where it belongs with lots of room for adjustment. The compartments are thoughtfully organized. This is the perfect pack for extended day hikes requiring extra gear or overnighters.

Wonderful Women's Focused Pack
Likes
Purchased this pack for my wife. She upgraded from a generic budget brand. Beautiful and intuitive design. Fit is definitely focused on a women's curvy build. She tried on a few premium brands and said the Deva was the one that fit the best. After using the pack a few times she loves it. The 60 liter is a good size for comfortable overnights or semi-ultralight multiday trips. She loves the waist pockets, adjust-ability, color, and overall weight of the pack. After being properly sized and fitted it's an extension of her hips and back. Also looking forward to owning a reputable brand with a great warranty - we know Gregory will stand behind their product.

Wish there were more exterior pockets for some little things, I see why they added a large mesh pocket for 2018.

Adjusts to fit many!

Lots of options to adjust the fit to you, additional bag to fit water seems like it will be useful - have not used it yet though.
Dislikes
Bottom straps are not removable, Pocket on hip fits phone, but could be slightly large to fit phone with a case on it. Takes a little extra time to get phone out and snap a photo!

Comfortable and handy

Love all the pockets, rain cover. Huge holds everything I need. Even the bear canister. My old backpack was totally taken over by the bear canister. Comfortable. Great top loader with three large of pockets. The inside zippered pocket is great for stowing important items you can't afford to lose. Huge outside zipper pocket. Clips for poles work--not as easy as Osprey, but they do work. May need a little assistance from a hiking partner to use them without taking off your backpack. The compression straps clip on and off, a very good feature compared to maven. Can't beat the comfort of this pack adjustable for short people--that's me.

The summit bag is a waste of weight. It's too small to carry enough essentials for a day hike, although I did hike with someone who used it for this purpose. It appears you can use the straps for holding a bag or tent on the bottom of the pack to use as a waste belt. You'd have to be pretty close to the summit or have perfect weather to use this. I may leave it home next time I go backpacking. Prefer the system on the Maven 35 I bought. Removable sleeping bag divider is too small- leave it home.
