Description

The innovative suspension system of the Paragon 58 internal frame backpack allows it to comfortably carry up to 50 pounds and stow 3539 cubic inches of gear at a weight well below that of its load-hauling peers. Adding value and functionality, Enwild includes a 3D Hydro Reservoir.

Equipped with Gregory’s Aerolon suspension system, the pack employs an ultra-lightweight hollow 7001 aluminum frame and a mesh-encased, die-cut foam backpanel to offer excellent load stabilization and ventilated performance. Adjustability in the harness and hipbelt allow you to customize fit. Load lifter straps and an adjustable sternum strap further enhance fit and ensure stability. Siliconized padding in the lumbar portion of the pack increases comfort and aids in load transfer. To ensure a customized fit, the pack is available in Small/Medium (fits torso sizes ranging from 15”-19”) and Medium/Large (18”-22”) size options.

The top-loading main compartment of the pack has an extendible drawstring closure. A zippered front entry allows access to a separate, lower sleeping bag compartment. A large front stuff pocket provides a place to keep discarded layers or other gear easily accessible. Zippered lid pockets and zippered hipbelt pockets offer additional organizational options. Side compression straps allow you to cinch down the packbag to keep the contents of the pack stabilized and they double as external lash points.

Other features include large side stretch water bottle pockets, trekking pole attachments, a front harness quick-stow feature for sunglasses, and an included raincover. An integrated sleeve and exit port make the pack hydration compatible (3D Hydro Reservoir included). That same sleeve can be removed entirely and, thanks to its integrated minimalist shoulder strap, it can be used as a lightweight daypack or summit pack!

The Gregory Paragon 58 internal frame backpack is available in your choice of size and color options.

Just took this pack on a 3 day backpacking trip in Yosemite and it was super comfortable. The suspension system made the weight of my pack disappear.

Great pack, highly recommend

Likes

took this pack to the Grand Canyon for a week. I carried 30 lbs on my back and barely felt it. The pack is very adjustable, which came in handy when I wanted to shift the weight up, down, or closer to my back. The aerolon suspension did an excellent job of shifting the weight to my back and hips and off of my shoulders. You can loosen all the straps and undo the hip belt and the pack still sits on your hips thanks to the grip on the lumbar support. The day pack/hydration sleeve is great once you get to camp and just want to hike around and check out the scenery without lugging an entire pack around. Haven't had a need for the rain cover yet but it's nice that they include it.

Dislikes

I carry water bottles not a bladder. The right side mesh pocket has a front entrance to make water bottle retrieval easier without removing the pack. It's easy to retrieve but sometimes difficult to get the bottle back in. This is certainly not an issue worth taking a star off for and not an issue at all if you like to carry s bladder.

Great weekend pack

Likes

This pack has a ton of features and plenty of space for long weekend trips. Comes with a summit bag that acts as storage for the hydration bladder. The suspension is well designed and comfortable carrying loads. My weekend packout with food, water and gear runs about 34 pounds but felt lighter and stayed in place thanks to the design of padding and hip belt.

Dislikes

Webbing and straps could be a little sturdier, no issues but worried about wear and them holding up over time.

Comfortable Backpack

Likes

I’ve had Osprey packs over the past 20 years. They have never been that comfortable, but I stuck with them because I knew of their quality. Decided to make a change due to the weight of the Paragon 58. So glad that I did, it’s probably the most comfortable pack I’ve owned.

Dislikes

Hard to find anything I don’t like about it. The side pockets and the hipbelt pockets could be a little larger.

Could not be happier. Took it out of the box on Thursday, hiked with it on Friday. Needed no adjustment. Carries weight well; weight distribution beautifully perfection. Has all the core requirements and lots of unique accessories. So, so, so Versatile

Likes

Out the box comfort. Has adjustments. May not need them. Comes with both the Hydro Reservoir and the Rain Cover. Tough material. Very versatile. Many uses. Distributes weight perfectly

Dislikes

At this price, absolutely none. Has my name in it. No faults.

Perfect size, lightweight backpack

Likes

This thing is great. I liked the fit way better than the Ospreys. Much more minimalist style. The 58 is the perfect size for few day get a ways. This is my favorite pack that I've tried.

Dislikes

The only downside is that the outer mesh pocket is very soft and tends to rip easy when you throw the pack down on rocks or a hard surface.

Great Pack

Likes

Bought this pack for my 14yo Boy Scout son. He has used the pack on several long hikes and says it is super comfortable and cool looking. I found the price, with the included reservoir, to be cheaper than elsewhere without the reservoir.

Dislikes

None so far.
