Handy Routine Keeper! / Not Microwaveable

Likes

This cup worked it's way in to my kit last winter and just fits. Keeper. My first one came from Beans at a higher price. Again Thanks Enwild. It nestles well anywhere the ubiquitous one quart Nalgene fits. They keep things hot or cold an appropriate length of time. The seals are very good and permit cold soaking on the trail. I generally do not use sippy cups, in this case GSI got it right. Having clumsy fits I knocked one over while hunkering down in a tent. Not a drop got away. Normaly there would have been no lid. This is a piece of kit I wish came along years ago.

Dislikes

My first green unit's cozy was not cut well and threads pull out. ( a bit of welding with a lighter fixed that) My wife's blue one, is fine. This new red has the best QC. The only functional downside is that it is not Microwaveable. UL folks may not find this lite enough. After balancing it's practically the cup is great. Leave the cozy be behind folks.

Great for Backpacking

Likes

The mug has liquid measurement labels printed on the plastic. Great for accurate measuring when adding water to dehydrated meals on the trail. While hiking, my ALPS inflatable travel pillow stores perfectly inside the mug.

Dislikes

Labels can be difficult to read without removing plastic mug from insulating sleeve.

Great camping cup/mug

Likes

I've had several of these mugs and I think they're almost perfect. Large volume, well insulated, seals completely. You can even fit your utensils and/or cleaning supplies in it when not in use.

Dislikes

Seals too well... You have to leave it open when you have hot drinks inside or the pressure makes the lid pop off.

Nice little backpacking mug

Likes

This is a nice little backpacking mug that I will use for tea In the backcountry. I like the light weight, the insulating properties, and the sip ability (some splash you in the nose, some don't flow well, this one works great)
