With midsole volume and deep EVA midsole cushioning that far exceeds most standard running shoes Hokas provide enhanced cushioning and shock absorption. While visually this looks bulky the performance-enhancing cushioning is actually extremely lightweight. Additionally a rockered geometry with a low heel-to-toe differential encourages an efficient rolling stride.
The mesh upper offers both comfort and enhanced breathability while keeping weight to a minimum. Integrated 3D printed overlays offer midfoot and comfortably lock your foot in place. With a 32mm heel and a 28mm forefoot the shoe has a 4mm drop. It weighs in at an average of 10.8 ounces per shoe (21.6 oz/pair).
The Vibram MegaGrip rubber outsole offers excellent durability and utilizes multi-directional 5mm lugs and a trail-specific tread to deliver reliable traction on varied terrain.
