With midsole volume that far exceeds standard hiking or running shoes Hoka One One footwear provides enhanced cushioning and shock absorption. While visually this may look bulky the performance-enhancing cushioning is actually extremely lightweight.
The mid-cut boot's synthetic upper delivers comfort and breathability and does away with the long break-in period that you get with all-leather boots. Strategic overlays bolster durability enhance lateral support and help to stabilize your foot and lock your heel in place. A proprietary waterproof/breathable lining helps to keep your feet dry and comfortable. With a 30mm heel and a 26mm forefoot the shoe has a moderate 4mm drop.
The durable Vibram MegaGrip rubber outsole utilizes 5mm multi-directional lugs and a trail-specific tread to deliver reliable traction on all surfaces.
