Perfect Pot

Not too deep, makes it easy to eat out of if you want to. Boil water a little faster than the deeper narrower Jet Boils because there is more heat surface contact with the water at the bottom. I love the regulator. It makes controlling the flame easy. It comes with the attachment to cook with a frying pan if you need to cook up something (like that trout you just caught up at the high lakes while backpacking in the Colorado wilderness) or you can use the pot and quickly boil some water for your freeze dried meal. Not too large and great for backpacking. Self lighter, don’t need matches or a flint. It works great. Buy it, you’ll be glad you did.
Dislikes
A little tricky to store the stove and a 100g fuel canister inside the pot but that’s okay. I like to take the 230g canisters anyway. It’s cheaper and takes less room and weighs less than two 100g canisters. A 230g canister will fit nicely in the pot without the stove inside the pot. So I guess really, there is not much to dislike about the Jetboil MiniMo.

Lightweight and boils water fast. Compact and can cook food in the pot nicely. The regulated valve makes simmer control totally great.

We love our Minimo thus far. So convenient, lightweight, and a breeze to operate. My only regret is that I didn't buy a JetBoil waaayy sooner!

Excellent Minimialist Cooking Tool

The Jet Boil Mini Mo is a compact, lightweight cooking system that backs nicely into ones backpack. The temperature controller gives you many options for heating/cooking food. It does more than just boil water, its a complete cooking system. The stove appears to be constructed very well and it has become my go to cooking option for car camping and backpacking.

I love this stove! I was debating between this and a Pocket Rocket for a long time. I chose this one because its a full system that has great simmer control and valve pressure regulation. For its first run, I took it winter camping in January in 15 and below degree weather. Worked great to heat up water super fast to get some coffee going, and also worked great to make scrambled eggs. Had a little trouble with the Piezo lighter a couple times, but I noticed I had nudged it out of place a bit, and it worked fine when I re-positioned it. I love the shape and size of the pot; great for cooking. Can't wait to take this baby out on a trip again!

A little bulky and a tiny bit heavier than if I'd done a Pocket Rocket and a lightweight pot, but I think its totally worth it.
