Backup water purification

Simple backup purification. Each tablet filters a quart. Individually wrapped. Kills everything, including cryptosporidium if you wait the 4 hours. Weighs next to nothing, toss a few in my bag for pretty much every trip, whether it is in the backcountry or to a new city. Never know when you might need some drinkable water without trusting the source.

Dislikes

4 hours for FULL purification. This is the most stubborn of water parasites and such. Works better on clearer water, not freezing water. If you are in an absolute rush, it should be as effective as iodine within 30 minutes, but might taste bleach-y still.

Tiny, individually wrapped with instructions on each one. Hardly weighs anything. Only gave 4 stars because we havent had to use them yet--I carry them on all trips as backup to our pump filter.
