Description

The Kelty All Inn 2P combines spaciousness with low weight for backcountry performance. This two-person tent uses lightweight fabrics and mesh to decrease weight and maximize air movement.

Measuring 84”x 52”(at its widest point), the tapered tent has 27.71 square feet of interior space. The single vestibule covers 6 square feet. The peak height is 42”.

The tent is supported by DAC PressFit aluminum poles. The setup for this tent includes 3 hubbed poles and one ridge pole. This arrangement creates vertical walls, which provide more overall living space inside the tent, instead of just a peak in the center.

The walls are 15 denier polyester with No-see-um mesh to provide ventilation while keeping out unwelcome guests. A large, zip-open mesh panel on the front door provides even more airflow. There are two doors, located on the front and side, meaning that you don’t have to climb over the gear you’ve stored in the vestibule when you get in and out of the tent. The freestanding design means you can pitch the tent and then move it around to find the best site. The tent is protected by a 40 denier siliconized ripstop nylon rainfly rated to 1500 mm. All seams are tape sealed to further ensure weather protection.

This tent includes Kelty’s Shark Mouth stuff sack, designed to make stuffing easier, and reflective guy lines. The custom-fit Kelty All Inn 2P Footprint (sold separately) can further protect your tent from wet ground, roots and rocks.

Great little tent

Likes

Very easy to setup. Only took about 5 minutes to setup in my backyard from the first time I opened it. Fits nicely in my pack and has plenty of room for myself or if I take my son with me. It might be a little cozy for 2 adults but its perfect for my use. This one checks all of the boxes for me. Oh, and I recieved this item 2 days after purchase which was a nice bonus!

Impressive ventilation features.

Likes

weight checked in at 3lbs 120z packaged weight. (with all stakes, guys, and poles). This is a pound lighter then the current Kelty tent I have been using. It seems that Kelty is more focused on durability as opposed to ultra light but this tent is getting close to a very happy medium ground. I am not ultra light when I backpack however I do count the ounces. I chose to go with Kelty quality and as light as they offered. Coupled with the lighter weight and super ventilation you can't go wrong with the All Inn 2.

Dislikes

This takes more time setting up. Guying this tent is pretty important as well. My old tent was free standing and I never used the guys once. This is labeled free standing but it needs the guys for stability. This is not enough for a problem to reduce my five star rating
