The bag is insulated with Kelty's CloudLoft synthetic fill. Unlike down insulation, CloudLoft provides warmth even when wet. This is particularly important if and when you are camping in wet climates or in foul weather. The sleeping bag's durable polyester taffeta shell and liner fabric further protect the insulation from the elements.
Unlike mummy-shaped bags, the bag's rectangular cut provides more room at the feet, hips, and shoulders, allowing you to roll around more easily. Side sleepers and thrashers will surely appreciate the extra wiggle-room! Quilted construction eliminates cold spots and keeps outside air from reaching the inside of the bag. The full-length zipper enables the sleeping bag to be unzipped for use as a blanket. An integrated internal pocket is ideal for stashing small electronics or valuables.
