Kelty Discovery Basecamp 6 3-Season Camping Tent

Measuring 119" x 106", the tent provides just over 87 square feet of internal space, and its 68" peak height helps maximize interior space. The large single door provides easy entry and exit and has a zippered window that can be opened for ventilation. NOTE: While the awning-style rainfly does provide weather protection it does not create any external storage space. Internal storage pockets in the tent make it easy to organize small essentials.

Three fiberglass poles provide the freestanding structure of the tent, and pockets at each corner of the tent keep one end of the pole secure as you move around to insert the other end. These "Quick Corners" prevent the common problem of tensioned tent poles jumping out of grommets as soon as you walk away. They combine with integrated clips on the tent to make pitching the tent a breeze.

Mesh on the tent body provides ventilation for combating condensation build-up and keeping you cool during warm weather. The durable 68D polyester floor and full-coverage rainfly protect the tent from wind and rain with a 1200mm waterproof coating. Fully taped seams further ensure weather protection. The optional custom-fit Kelty Discovery Basecamp 6 Footprint (sold separately) further protects the floor of the tent against ground water, roots, and rocks.

The Kelty Discovery Basecamp 6 tent includes the Shark Mouth duffel so you can easily pack the tent away and has a carry strap for cross-body transport.
