Built to deliver warmth and functionality while helping to inspire a love for our parks and public lands, the Kelty Ranger Doug 30 Degree Women's sleeping bag utilizes weather-resistant synthetic insulation and includes features that make it ideal for nature-loving campers.
A former park ranger, Ranger Doug is an artist who makes faithful reproductions of the iconic WPA National Park posters from the 1930's and 1940's. His work is focused on the support of conservation efforts and a portion of the proceeds from the sales of the items in the Kelty Ranger Doug collection that borrow from the General Grant National Park will be given to the Student Conservation Association and their aim to raise awareness, educate, and groom the next generation of conservation leaders.
The bag is insulated with Toasty Tech synthetic insulation which retains its ability to keep you warm even if it should become damp or wet. Polyester and nylon shell fabrics help to further protect the insulation from the elements. A printed portion of the bag and the nylon taffeta liner sport the unmistakable Ranger Doug series colors and patterns.
A lengthy anti-snag zipper on one side of the bag provides easy access to the interior and a draft tube sewn behind it ensures that cold air is kept out of the bag. A 15"-length zipper on the other side of the bag allows you to conveniently fold down the front of the bag for casual hanging out at camp or for venting the bag on warmer nights. A zipper on the natural-fitting footbox grants an additional venting option.
The Kelty Ranger Doug 30 Degree Women's sleeping bag fits to 5' 8", weighs 3 pounds, and has an uncompressed stuff size of 15" x 10". An included compression stuff sack lets you cinch the bag down even smaller.
