Tired of hunching over the entire time you're at the campground? The Kelty Sequoia 4 tent has ample elbow room for up to 4 inhabitants and its 78" internal peak height offers excellent head room.

The tent provides a voluminous 60 square feet of interior space and a large, integrated vestibule in front of the mesh door offers 35 square feet of protected exterior storage space. Hanging mesh wall pockets allow you to store clothes and gear up off the ground to maximize available floor space. An integrated "Night Light" pocket allows you to convert a headlamp into an ambient lantern (headlamp not included).

Sturdy steel poles give the tent reliable, freestanding structure. Their architecture grants verticality to the walls of the tent that increase livable interior space. Ample mesh on the walls and ceiling of the tent body help to promote airflow and combat condensation.The tent's 68D polyester floor and fly offer excellent durability and 1800mm PU treatments and taped seams bolster weather protection. The optional Sequoia 4 Footprint (sold separately) can be used to further protect the floor of the tent against ground water, roots, and rocks.

Just what I was looking for...almost.

I love the roominess. I have been looking for a tent with headroom and with medium space. I camp alone. I have a Marmot Halo 6P that I love but with 1 person, it's takes some time to set up and take down. This tent is a bit smaller with a corresponding less amount of time and effort. I think it is what I needed. I haven't had it out in bad weather yet but I see no reason for that to be a problem. It comes with all the needed stakes and guy lines. I had doubts about the stakes as they are just 1/8" steel stock, bent at 1 end but in use they were fine so far, did not bend or fail while being driven into hard ground. I carry an extra assortment regardless but they weren't needed. Color coded tabs on tent and fly, and single door, you can't set it up wrong. AND...it easily fits back into the bag. Thank you !

Dislikes

There is one drawback that keeps it from 5 stars...it is heavy! It comes with substantial steel poles which peg the weight at 20+ lbs. I car camp so this isn't a big deal but it weighs as much as the Halo 6P. If aluminum poles were available, I would buy them in a heartbeat and this tent would be ideal with somewhat less weight overall.

What an amazing tent!

So much vertical room it's crazy. People needing to change clothes need not lay down and do some yoga to put on clean clothes. Fits a queen size mattress nicely. Nice rain fly when needed or mesh for all the good weather nights and days.
