The Kelty Sideroads Awning provides shade and protection from the elements for any motorized adventure or car camping trips. With a universal vehicle attachment system that can connect to the side or rear of most vehicles, this structured tarp sets up quickly and easily so you can spend your time enjoying camp--and not just setting it up.
The awning measures 138" x 72" x 96", though its coverage will vary based on your vehicle and placement. The 68D polyester tarp has a 1200mm coating to ensure waterproof protection. Sturdy fiberglass poles pitch the tarp almost like a tent that can then be positioned according to your preference or camp setup. Placed either on the side or rear of your vehicle, you can use the short webbing loops and buckles to connect to your roof rack or you can use the extended length straps to secure the tarp to your wheels or other convenient lash points. The awning corners on the ground can then be staked for security, along with the included guy lines.
The Kelty Sideroads Awning has a packed weight of 8 pounds, 14 ounces. The included Shark Mouth duffel enables it to pack down to 22" x 8" x 7" and has a full-length strap for cross-body transport.
