The innovative, inflatable Klymit Insulated Static V Lite sleeping pad employs a lightweight, compressible design and utilizes Primaloft insulation to deliver warmth for year-round use. The pad’s unique, pocketed V-chamber design increases warmth and provides excellent support and comfort.

The strategically oriented V-chambers offer a comfortable sleeping base but also help to trap air and keep you warmer than traditional inflatable pads. Horizontally-baffled side rails help to keep you situated on your pad at night and also provide some flexibility should you choose to use the Insulated Static V Lite inside of your sleeping bag. Because of its weight-shaving design, the Insulated Static V Lite inflates in just 10-12 breaths and the integrated valve makes inflation and deflation easy while ensuring a secure closure. Primaloft Eco insulation further bolsters warmth, granting the pad a year-round worthy 4.4 R-value.

The Klymit Insulated Static V Lite sleeping pad has 72" x 23" x 2.5" dimensions but packs down to a backpacking-friendly 8" x 5" and weighs just 19.6 ounces. Each pad includes a patch kit and a stuff sack.

Not expensive but extremely warm and comfortable

Extremely comfortable and compact. I really love this stuff. It's my first experience of using inflatable pads, so it's amazing to sleep so comfortably after using simple sleeping mats. I feel like at home in my bed :) Ergonomics is also pretty good.

Great combo of weight and warmth

Love this inflatable pad. Have both the insulated Luxe and regular width, non-insulated Klymit pads also. This fits nicely in between. Offers nice protection without the size and weight of the larger Luxe version. Used this just last week next to a lake where it dipped down into the high 30’s at night. Felt no coldness from underneath. Two thumbs up.

Dislikes

Although I have several pads from Klymit, I’m still not a huge fan of their inflation nozzle design. It can seize up and be difficult to open on occasion. I also feel it’s a little prone to leakage. Not a deal breaker, though, considering pretty much every inflatable pad leaks to some extent.

Good size and color. Stayed warm throughout the night coupled with my down quilt. Small size when packed down and fairly easy to inflate/deflate.

Great lightweight pad.

Weight. Size both when not in use and while inflated. It's 3 inches wider than my old pad and that made a big difference.

It did take more breaths to inflate than I had hoped. But still worth it considering the folded up size.
