The Klymit KSB 35 Degree down sleeping bag effectively balances thermal efficiency, weight, and packed size to deliver reliable warm-weather backpacking performance.
The bag is insulated with 650-fill power white duck down. Renowned for their efficiency in retaining heat and compressible properties, down fibers have an incredibly soft, comfortable feel and, despite advances in synthetic materials, continue to provide the best warmth-to-weight ratio of any insulation available. The one weakness of down insulation is that it loses much of its ability to maintain warmth when it gets wet, but Klymit equips the 20D rip-stop nylon shell with a durable water repellent treatment to help protect the insulation from moisture.
Flexible baffles are employed through three quarters of the bag to help cut down on weight and keep the insulation drawn close to your body to maximize thermal efficiency and allow you to move comfortably during the night. A three-quarter length zipper makes it easy to get in and out of the bag and a draft guard behind the zipper keeps cold air from creeping inside. A fully insulated hood and expanded chest area increases warmth and a contoured footbox provides comfortable space for your feet.
The Klymit KSB 35 Degree sleeping bag fits backpackers up to 6' 5" in height. A stuff sack is included that allows the bag to pack down to 13” x 7”.
