Lightweight and durable, the LifeStraw Peak Series Gravity Filter System 3L makes it easy to access safe, drinkable water whether you're out in the backcountry or traveling abroad. This versatile water filter system can also be used as water storage, a straw filter by itself, or with a standard water bottle (sold separately).
An internal hollow-fiber filter is 99.999% effective against waterborne bacteria, parasites (including Giardia and Cryptosporidium), microplastics, silt, sand, and cloudiness. No pumping is required and there is no need to allow time for purification to occur. Simply fill the reservoir, hang it up, and water drawn from the flow-control clip is immediately filtered and safe to drink. The membrane microfilter effectively filters up to 500 gallons of water (depending on water quality). A standard quick-connect attachment is included for connecting a clean reservoir (sold separately). For cleaning, a custom backwash accessory is included to avoid clogs and maintain a fast flow rate. All of the materials used in the system are BPA-free.
It has a leakproof cap and a carabiner with an adjustable strap for convenience when carrying it to your campsite.
While designed to be used with the included reservoir, the filter has a threaded bottom that can be used with standard water bottles or other LifeStraw Peak Series systems (both sold separately)
