Description

Synthetic upper and GORE-TEX lining provide nimble weather protection: The boot's upper is a combination of ripstop nylon and mesh with strategic support-enhancing overlays. This construction keeps weight to a minimum, maximizes breathability, and still offers excellent lateral stability while breaking in much faster than an all-leather boot. A microfiber toe cap increases durability at an area of the boot otherwise prone to the wear-and-tear of rocks and roots. A GORE-TEX lining ensures waterproof protection while still allowing your foot to breathe.
Midsole package delivers lightweight stabilization for long days on the trail: The boot's double-injection DynaPU midsole provides ideal support, durability and rebound for hiking and backpacking. A softer PU layer provides flexibility and cushioning underneath a denser supportive layer. A structured heel and built-in support frame help to properly position your foot and add to lateral stability. A glass-fiber reinforced shank helps to support the carrying of heavy backpacking loads. An included insole enhances underfoot cushioning and overall fit.
Dependable traction on trail or off trail: Purpose-built for hiking and backpacking, a sturdy rubber outsole and aggressive tread pattern provide confidence for every step.
