Solid boots

Likes

Very comfortable boot that is fairly lightweight for an all leather upper. Durable construction especially for their weight.

Dislikes

I prefer a little more arch support/ rigid sole.

Sizing is small

Likes

Great quality. Easy to wear.

Dislikes

Normally around 10.5. Ordered 11 to make sure I had space for socks. My toes touched the end of the '11'. Never had that happen before. Ended up in 11.5's.

Love these boots!

Likes

I’ve had 4 pairs of these Lowa’s and love them. Unfortunately, this time I bought a pair in a men’s size, because they didn’t have my size in women’s and they are a little too wide for having the best fit. I knew this would probably happen, but I ordered them anyway. The boot itself though, is comfortable, supportive and has a very minimal break in period.

Dislikes

The only thing I dislike, is the inability to re-sole a great, and fairly expensive boot.

Well built, comfortable boot used for work.

Dislikes

Eyelets too sharp, I went through laces like you wouldn't believe until I got Kevlar laces.

Solid 3 season boot that is comfortable right out of the box.

Likes

Comfortable with a short break in period Rigid sole capable for scrambles up rocks

Dislikes

Tapping around the ankle which can let in small stones

So far so good. I do wish they had fewer seams and a protective toecap but they at least have so extra volume compared to many other hikers. Better yet is how comfortable the free t-shirt is!

Likes

weight, traction, support

Dislikes

looks, lack of protective toe cap, too many seams

My New Go-to Pair

Likes

I couldn’t be happier on the performance of this boot. I put them through a rigorous backpack trip in the High Uintah mountains in northern Utah. I put over 80 miles in these shoes hiking multiple peaks and valleys and they performed great. Even fell in to a couple of steams while crossing and no worse for wear. I wore them on a couple of elk hunts as well and again, great boots.

Dislikes

The cost

Good comfortable lightweight boots

Likes

Lightweight for a boot. Waterproof. Comfortable. One of the few boots available in wide.

Dislikes

Lacing is sometimes frustrating and not secure. Durability could be better.
