Description

Water-resistant down insulation ensures all-condition performance: The bag utilizes certified 650+ fill power down with a chemical-free ExpeDry treatment to provide an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio with weather-resistance to keep on insulating even when damp or wet. The bag's 100% recycled nylon shell and lining fabrics help increase weather-resistance and overall durability.
Thermally efficient design features: The bag's tapered shape helps to reduce weight and eliminate cold spots, and the baffled design keeps the down insulation from shifting to further ensure consistent warmth. An anatomically designed footbox and a draft collar help you retain heat where you need it the most.
Easy, adjustable access for a great night's sleep: The main zipper has a smooth-gliding full-length anti-snag 2-way slider on the left side. A short section of zipper on the right side of the bag offers fold-down comfort and provides the ability to vent the bag. An internal stash pocket keeps small essentials contained and in easy reach.
ISO tested to confirm the bag's temperature rating: Marmot took all the necessary steps to formally assess the Mad River so that backpackers can be confident in its 15-degree Fahrenheit temperature rating.

Sizing, fit, and storage

The Mad River 15 Degree sleeping bag is available in Short (fits up to 5' 6"), Regular (fits up to 6' 0") and Long (fits up to 6' 6") size options. A stuff sack is included for easy packing, along with a storage bag so you can keep the bag uncompressed when not in use.
