Employing a unique checkerboarded grid fleece, the Marmot Men's AirFleece Performance Full-Zip Hoody is a low-profile, technical layer that provides a boost of lightweight warmth while maximizing breathability for active pursuits. It's an ideal top layer in mild weather and a cozy midlayer in colder temps.

Description

  • A performance-oriented balance of weight, warmth, and breathability: The hoody's 100% recycled polyester jacquard fleece is packable and offers quick-drying breathability. Its grid pattern creates grooves that help move air, trap heat, and reduce bulk.
  • Designed to optimize fit for all our outdoor activities: Flatlock seams increase the durability of the lightweight fabric, so it holds up even under the weight and contact of a pack. Elastic-bound cuffs and an elastic hem further enhance overall fit.
  • Additional performance features: A close-fitting "Scuba" style hood extends protective coverage over your neck and head and can be comfortably worn under a climbing helmet or ski helmet. Built-in thumbholes eliminate the gap between sleeves and gloves to enhance warmth. In milder temperatures the thumbholes can provide enough warmth to even go glove-free. A zippered stretch woven chest pocket offers quick access to small essentials and zippered front pockets add further storage and give your hands a place to escape the elements.

How does it fit?
The Men's AirFleece Performance Full-Zip Hoody has a regular fit. This cut incorporates dropped shoulders, a straight waist, and a straight hem. It can be worn as a stand-alone or over low-profile baselayers. You can also comfortably pull a hard shell or a heavier insulated layer over top of it.
