The Marmot Orbit 6P camping tent has a spacious interior, extremely durable construction, and a huge modular vestibule that maximizes external storage and versatility. The combination of features makes the tent ideal for 3+ season usage.
The tent's 77.5 square feet interior provides comfortable space for up to 6 campers. Internal pockets help to free up space on the floor by giving you a place to stash clothes and gear. A "lamp shade" pocket has fabric that enables you to convert a headlamp (not included) into a lantern. A large front door offers easy access to the interior of the tent and a massive 105 square foot front vestibule provides a wealth of protected external storage space. The vestibule has multiple entry points, including two side doors that can be pitched in an awning style to enhance ventilation and even allow the vestibule to serve as a front porch.
DAC DA17 aluminum poles lend the tent sturdy, freestanding support. As the Orbit is a large tent, initial set-up can be tricky, but color-coded clips and poles help to make pitching easier. A combination of clips and sleeves make the pitched tent strong and stable.
The main body of the tent is 68D polyester taffeta and breathable polyester No-See-Um mesh. The 68D polyester taffeta rainfly and floor both have water-resistant coatings that ensure protection from the elements. The catenary cut floor and taped seams also help to keep you dry. The compatible, custom-fit Orbit 6P footprint (sold separately) can be used to further protect the floor of the tent from sharp objects, mud, and ground water.
