Named for "range of motion" the hooded Marmot ROM Jacket is a do-it-all soft shell that uses a strategically-placed combination of GORE WINDSTOPPER and soft shell fabrics to create a comfortable windproof and breathable jacket.
The polyester and elastane fabrication of the jacket has a soft "next to skin" feel and delivers comfort-enhancing stretch. Coupled with GORE-TEX Infinium nylon and elastane the jacket is windproof water-resistant and highly breathable making it a great option for active cool-and-cold weather pursuits. An attached adjustable hood offers a close and protective fit when the weather forces you to hunker down. Highly breathable side panels allow excess body heat to dissipate quickly.
Other features include adjustable Velcro cuffs an elasticized drawcord hem an interior zippered pocket a zippered chest pocket and high-set zippered pockets that can be accessed even if you're wearing a backpack or a climbing harness.
Available in a variety of size and color options the Marmot ROM Jacket has an athletic fit that is best worn only over baselayers and low-profile midlayers.
