The jacket's 2L GORE-TEX recycled polyester fabric confidently fends off rain and snow. Fully taped seams further ensure complete waterproof/breathable protection. Warmth is provided by 3M Thinsulate Eco Featherless insulation a loose fill that mimics the structure of down but maintains loft and retains heat even if should become wet making it more versatile than down insulation. Integrated pit zips enable you to dump excess heat without jeopardizing weather protection. An adjustable hood extends coverage and can be removed entirely when conditions don't demand its use. Marmot's patented Angel-Wing Movement construction grants the wearer a full range of motion without any concern of the jacket riding up.
Other features include zippered handwarmer pockets with water-resistant zippers an internal zippered valuables pocket and an elasticized drawcord hem.
