Marmot pulled out all the technical stops when it built the Women's GridLite Down Hoody. This lightweight, streamlined hooded jacket employs a Pertex Quantum shell and a mix of down and synthetic insulations to maximize performance while minimizing weight and bulk.

Description

: Innovative 800-fill ExpeDRYT down provides the body of the jacket with the trusted warmth-to-weight of down insulation with enhanced water-resistance to keep on insulating even in wet or damp conditions. To further ensure consistent warmth, Marmot uses sheeted 80g synthetic insulation in the arms, side panels, and the hood.
Hybrid fabrication balances weight, durability, and weather-protectiveness: A lightweight but abrasion-resistant 100% recycled 20D nylon ripstop face fabric has a durable water-repellent finish to fend off moisture. To increase durability and enhance protection against the elements, the cuffs, outer arms, and hood are constructed of a 30D NanoPro waterproof fabric.
Streamlined design features enhance fit and functionality: The jacket has a full-length front zipper. An elastic-bound full-coverage hood protects your head, face, and neck without creating unwanted bulk, and elastic bound cuffs help to keep out cold drafts. Dual zippered front pockets let you get hands out of the elements.

The Women's GridLite Down Hoody has a regular fit with relaxed shoulders and a straight hem that allows you to throw a hard shell over top or comfortably wear baselayers underneath.
