Description

Forward-thinking insulation profile that blends performance and sustainability: Focused on maximizing warmth, the vest is absolutely stuffed with insulation but there's more to the story than there just being a lot of it. Marmot's 700-fill Ceiba fill is a combination of 80% recycled down and 20% Ceiba flower which leverages the natural water-repellent and hypoallergenic qualities of the petals of the kapok trees flowers. This groundbreaking blend results in a lofty, highly-compressible fill that effectively keeps on insulating even in wet or damp conditions.
Durable, protective exterior with trail-to-streetworthy aesthetics: The jacket's recycled polyester shell fabric balances weight and durability and has a water-repellent coating that helps to fend off precipitation and moisture. The large, stitched baffles help to ensure even distribution of insulation and corresponding consistent warmth while also giving the vest a look that is equally comfortable in the backcountry or back in town.
Winter-ready special features and fit details : A tall collar enhances overall warmth, and an adjustable hem helps to seal out drafts. A zippered chest pocket stows your phone or other small essentials, and large zippered front pockets serve as insulated havens for your hands.
