Warmer than fleece, super hood

Likes

Fitted. Broader chest, narrower waist. I normally wear M (5'10", 155 lbs, 40 chest, 32 waist) and this size fits very well over a single base layer with enough room to move and twist. Ample armpit holes and sleeves. Long hem. No riding up. Smooth and durable exterior fabric. The hood is roomy and adjustable with just enough brim to shield the face and eyes. Tall front collar. Wonderful.

Dislikes

Diagonal quilted style, prefer more traditional, angular stitch lines, but not bad looking. The grey non-fabric trim around the zippers is not functional and not stylish.

Great insulating layer!

Likes

Fit is nice and trim. Awesome breathability. Hem and sleeve length are good for me (6'1" 175 lb.) Great looking jacket - "Baltic" is a nice blue.

Dislikes

Wish it had a DWR coating.

Outdoor Research Uberlayer Insulated Hooded Jacket

Likes

Perfect combination of stretch (freedom of movement), trim fit (style), layerability (sort of a word, I googled it), and temperature regulation. Lightweight, and stowes into it's own pocket for packing purposes without compromising warmth
