A weather-resistant version of the classic Tour lumbar pack, the Mountainsmith Dry Tour has RF welded construction and waterproof zippers that make it ideal for fly-fisherman, photographers, or hikers who venture out regardless of the conditions.
The pack's waistbelt has a wide wrap-around style and utilizes an ergonomic pull system to provide on-the-go adjustment. The foam-padded, breathable waistbelt provides more support than comparable lumbar packs and remains comfortable to wear even on hot days.
The Dry Tour has 420 cubic inches of carrying capacity but still weighs just 1 pound, 8 ounces.. Unlike full-blown daypacks it is compact enough that your movements remain uninhibited.
Featuring multiple compartments and storage pockets, the pack offers multiple organizational options. A zippered pocket on the inside of the main compartment provides a hideaway for keys, coins and other valuables. A detachable side pocket can accommodate a 32 ounce water bottle (not included) and can be affixed to your preferred side of the pack. Integrated attachment points allow you to lash additional gear to the outside of the pack. Optional Mountainsmith Strapettes (sold separately) can be employed to serve as shoulder straps and provide extra support when heavy loads are being carried.
