The Epic Lumbar Pack is just perfect for day-hikes where bringing a full backpack feels like overkill, yet I still want to keep the essentials close and secure. The zippered side pockets keep keys safe while I’m on the move, and the front pockets are the perfect place for my phone yet have enough storage for a hat, gloves, or even a windbreaker. Before using the pack, I was a bit skeptical that I’d be able to keep my bike bottles in the bottle pockets without them awkwardly moving around, but I was pleasantly surprised to find they’re a snug and stable fit. I love having the option to bring hydration and be hands-free on shorter distances!
