The streamlined Mountainsmith Scream 25 daypack weighs just 1 pound, 5 ounces and compresses compactly into its own lid pocket, making it a great option to throw in a larger pack or toss into your luggage. Ripstop Robic HT nylon fabric balances weight and durability.
The stripped-down pack utilizes an Airmesh backpanel and breathable shoulder straps to comfortably carry light loads. An elastic sternum strap and webbed waistbelt aid in load stabilization and fit. Side compression straps help cinch contents in place. Note that the pack best fits 15"-19" torso lengths.
The single large compartment offers 1585 cubic inches of storage space. Side mesh pockets are perfect for water bottles or other gear and the top lid has a stash pocket for small essentials. That same pocket also doubles as a stuff sack for the pack. Other features include dual daisy chain gear attachment points, a trekking pole loop, and a safety whistle built into the sternum strap. A lined sleeve makes the pack hydration system compatible (system not included).
