MSR DynaLock Ascent Carbon Poles

With ultra-lightweight Kevlar-reinforced carbon construction, compact "foldable" design, and built-in adjustability, MSR DynaLock Ascent Carbon Poles are ideal for year-round hiking, snowshoeing, and alpine pursuits.

Simple-to-use DynaLock mechanisms provide the poles with a 20cm adjustability range to ensure that they stand at the appropriate height even on varying grades. The mechanisms are constructed of lightweight anodized aluminum that provides long-term durability and reliable locking strength. The poles are available in two length options (120 cm max length and 140 cm) to further ensure proper performance for adventurers of any height. The poles collapse down in a fashion similar to what you find on tent poles which makes them more compact when not in use than traditional telescoping poles.

EVA foam grips give hands a comfortable place to rest and guide the poles. Extended length of foam allow you to vary where you grab them which come in handy on switchbacks where you may want to change up your grip without having to constantly change the adjusted height of the poles. Integrated straps help to take some of the stress off of your wrists.

Long carbide tips deliver solid traction on trails, on soft ground, or in snow. Both narrow summer baskets and broad winter baskets are included to make certain that the poles offer reliable performance regardless of the season or conditions.
