The classic MSR Evo Trail snowshoe provides confident traction and flotation adaptability for packed trails or rolling terrain. A super durable option that's ready for years of hard use, the value-packed Evo Trail snowshoe is easy to use and compatible with almost any footwear.
The compact profile of the snowshoe maximizes agility and efficiency by promoting an easy, natural stride. The injection-molded plastic frame offers flotation and extreme durability. Two parallel, aggressively-toothed steel rails provide superior traction to traditional snowshoes. A smooth-pivoting steel crampon bites into snow and ice for confident traction and is designed with a natural range of motion to limit over-rotation that could jeopardize your balance.
The Paraglide Binding uses a single molded mesh piece to stretch evenly over the foot for a pressure-point free hold that's compatible with almost any footwear. A rear strap secures your foot in place and both straps are easy to adjust even when wearing gloves.
MSR's suggested weight range for the Evo is up to 180 pounds (including shoes, user and gear). Deep, untracked powder demands a higher surface area from a snowshoe in order to keep you from sinking too deep for easy travel. If you expect to encounter these types of conditions, the modular design allows you to attach the MSR Evo Tail (sold separately) to increase surface area and provide greater flotation. By using tails, you can also increase the suggested weight capacity to 250 pounds. NOTE: Even with tails, the Evo snowshoe may be unsuitable for users over 225 pounds, especially if use is attempted in soft snow deeper than 30 inches.
The MSR Evo Trail 22 snowshoe is sold in pairs and is available in your choice of color options.
