Description

Fast, easy setup that's spacious and lightweight: The shelter has a pyramid design so that it's easy to pitch and only requires a single center pole, whether it's a trekking pole, ski pole, or 5-foot accessory pole (all options sold separately).
Seamless integration with the Front Range Ultralight Tarp Shelter: Get weather protection and additional stability by pairing the mesh shelter with the Front Range Ultralight Tarp Shelter (sold separately). A large, zippered door matches up with the opening on the tarp.
Durable construction for longevity: Sturdy mesh keeps the bugs out and the ripstop nylon floor uses MSR's Xtreme Shield 3000MM polyurethane waterproof coating for weather protection.
Comfortable livability: The mesh interior has plenty of space for up to four people. The large door has two zippers for easy access, and an integrated loop keeps the door fabric neatly out of the way when it's open. A cone design at the top of the shelter creates a gap between the mesh and the tarp to boost ventilation when paired together.

Compatibility and optional equipment

The MSR Front Range Bug/Floor Insert includes stakes, guy lines, two straps for ski/trekking pole assembly, a stuff sack and setup instructions. The adjustable center pole is sold separately. It is designed to pair with the Front Range Ultralight Tarp Shelter. You can also bolster the floor protection with the MSR Universal 4 Person Regular Footprint.
