Lightweight and versatile, the MSR Front Range Ultralight Tarp Shelter provides all-season protection for up to four backpackers, ski tourers, or mountaineers. The classic frameless, floorless design offers versatility and modularity for varied adventures.

Description

Effectively balances weight and durability: Constructed of 20D ripstop nylon with taped seams and a weather-protective coating, the tarp delivers all-condition protection at a weight of just 2 pounds. It can be pitched with two ski poles or trekking poles conveniently lashed together with two included attachment straps.
Modular versatility to suit any adventure: The shelter can function as a solo shelter, accommodate up to 4 sleepers, or serve as a dining room or hang-out space. A zippered door rolls back on both sides for sweeping views and easy entry. You can pair the shelter with the MSR Front Range Bug/Floor Insert (sold separately) to ward off insects and enjoy a protective bathtub-style floor.
Included accessories and value and enhance performance. : The tarp comes with six lightweight but durable Groundhog stakes and guy lines for confident pitching. A stuff sack is included for ease of transportation and storage.
