Amazing Service

Because you deserve it.

Designed to work in tandem with all MSR liquid-fuel stoves, the MSR Fuel Bottle includes a child-resistant cap that meets all U.S. and Canada safety requirements. Available in 3 size options.

Description

The MSR Fuel Bottle is designed to work in tandem with all MSR liquid-fuel stoves (sold separately). Made from a single piece of impact-extruded aluminum to prevent leaks and cracks, the Fuel Bottle is bolstered at the shoulder and base to resist bulging when pressurized.

Per U.S. CFR 1700 and Health Canada requirements, the Fuel Bottle's "push-and-twist" cap provides child-resistant safety.

The MSR Fuel Bottle is available in your choice of 11oz, 20oz and 30oz size options.

  • Controlled Pouring: Holes in shaft of bottle cap allow measured flow, prevent spills.
  • Air-Tight Seal: Allows longer-term fuel storage by preventing air from entering and degrading fuel.
  • Pump Storage: MSR Fuel Pump can be stored inside a depressurized bottle for easy transporting.

What can you say? Fuel bottles for the MSR liquid stoves. They do a great job

Dislikes

When the fuel expands during the summer, the childproof tops can be difficult to remove. Buy the regular tops and you will be happy

Does what it says on the tin. The child safe cap is fairly rugged, but a nice feature as you can imagine. Cap stays tight and doesn't back off, almost to the point where you wonder why you put it on so tight.

Dislikes

Not a complaint, really, but the cap might be tightening itself when I'm not looking.

It helped me lighten my load. I'm a fairly novice backpacker and I've been carrying to much fuel for our three day treks. This bottle provides just enough for at least two good hot meals (maybe four) and some clean up, and hot drinks. I have a small dragonfly stove.

Dislikes

As always, the price.

Clean simple design. Reasonably lightweight. Does exactly what it is designed to do.

Dislikes

A little overpriced for an empty fuel bottle, but it should last a long time.

Reasonably lightweight, and a clean looking design. Bought to use with the MSR whisperlite stove. Safety/locking cap is very sturdy and will not come loose by itself.

Dislikes

Nothing really, but would like it to be a bit lighter.

Dislikes

Too simple to have problems!

Good bottle. No issues. Many sizes offered.

Dislikes

Don't like safety cap. Old cap had no moving parts to ices up or potentially fail. That said I have not had any issues with the safety cap yet. Just a concern.

Good bottle. Holds up well over time, no corrosion, etc. Never had one leak yet.

Dislikes

Don't care for bulk of safety cap over standard non-safety cap, but have not had any trouble with either. Just afraid that is is something else to give trouble at in-opportune times sch a as cold weather camping. I think you can get the standard cap for mountaineering, but many stores only carry the safety cap.
