Premium materials maximize durability and traction while keeping weight to a minimum: Aggressive teeth running the entire perimeter of the steel frame and a steel toe crampon provide advanced traction especially on traverses and in challenging conditions while a TPU-coated nylon deck aids in flotation without adding excess weight
Paradigm binding ensures a performance fit: Balancing weight and durability, the highly adjustable binding provides all-day secure comfort for a wide range of shoe sizes, cradling your foot with a pressure-point-free hold
Built-in heel lift for enhanced uphill efficiency: An integrated, ergonomic Ergo Televator reduces fatigue and increases traction on steep inclines while engaging and disengaging with the simple flick of a pole grip

What size do I need?

MSR's suggested weight recommendations are as follows: up to 180 pounds for the 22-inch size, between 120-220 pounds for the 25-inch size, and up to 280 pounds for the 30-inch size. Integrated attachment points allow you to utilize 5-inch (13 cm) modular tails (sold separately) improve flotation in deep powder and increase load capacity to 250 pounds for the 22-inch size, 280 pounds for the 25-inch size, and 300 pounds for the 30-inch size.
