The MSR Zoic 1 tent is a lightweight shelter built for warm-weather solo adventures. It offers breathability, ease of setup and legendary MSR quality.
This tent measures 88” x 35” and has an interior livable area of 21.5 square feet. The peak height is 39 inches. A single vestibule covers 9 square feet.
The single door and the walls are lightweight nylon micromesh, promoting air circulation while keeping out annoying bugs. The tent floor is tough 70 denier taffeta nylon with a durable DWR coating to keep you dry. Steep walls give you more livable space, offering room for a 25 inch-wide sleeping pad.
The tent is supported by two aluminum 7000-series poles and protected by a 40 denier ripstop nylon rainfly.
The MSR Zoic 1 offers an ultra-lightweight setup option for ounce-counters. Other tents simply combine the footprint and the rainfly to offer a minimalist, ultralight shelter. In contrast, if you pair the tent with the Zoic 1 Fast & Light Body (sold separately), you get an open-top bathtub floor and rainfly that gives you more protection from crawlies and weather.
