Description

A rugged pack equipped with numerous organizational features and ample storage (4320 cubic inches), the Mystery Ranch Men's Glacier is ready-made for long weekend trips or extended backpacking trips.

Balancing weight and strength, the pack utilizes an HDPE frame to deliver torsional rigidity. Four vertical composite stays maximize load-hauling capability while durable webbing and foam provide strength and flexibility. Padding in the shoulder straps, backpanel, and waist belt offers supportive cushioning. A telescoping yoke gives the suspension excellent adjustability and an adjustable sternum strap and load-lifter straps combine to let you dial in fit and maximize weight distribution. To further ensure a proper fit, the pack is available in a variety of sizes (see the Size Chart for recommended fit range).

The top-loading pack has 4320 cubic inches (71 liters) of capacity in the main compartment and a side vertical zipper grants additional access when you want to quickly put hands on an item. Two draw cords seal the top opening and allow for upward expansion. A separate lower compartment is ideal for a sleeping bag or other gear you might want to keep separate from the contents of the main compartment. This is accessed by a unique horizontal zipper that makes for convenient packing and unpacking.

Other features include two large front zippered "torpedo" pockets, two zippered lid pockets, and stretch side pockets. The lid can even be removed entirely for use as a day pack. A daisy chain down the center of the pack provides additional places to lash gear in addition to a tool loop. Side compression straps aid in load stabilization and offer another option for external gear lashing. Burly 500 denier Lite Plus Cordura fabric and sturdy YKK zippers deliver long-term durability and all-condition reliability. A lined sleeve makes the pack hydration compatible (hydration system not included).

This is a great quality pack. Can haul a lot of equipment. Recently did a trip with my family. I carried the brunt of the load and the pack was perfect. I also utilized the day pack for day hikes. Though I wish that top pack is configured a little larger, I made it work. Overall I am very satisficed!

The Mystery Ranch Glacier is a amazing pack! It’s really comfortable and makes a heavy load seem light. It’s really well built and durable, has a lot of unique great features like the wide zipper to the sleeping bag compartment, and the two large front compartments. This bag is all about quality and functionality. I would totally recommend it.
