Kind of bulky but good at what it does

The foam makes it feel more like a real pillow. The bungee gives options for side sleepers to put something else underneath without worries that it'll slide all over the place.
Dislikes
I wish it was less wide but still had the bungee and foam. And it packs down but not very small due to the foam. Though the foam helps it feel less like an air bag, even when partially deflated, you can still tell it's a bag. The amount of "give" is particular to air pillows. Though the foam really does help.

more comfortable than inflatables

the foam layer adds a lot of softness & comfort to the inflatable layer (and is smooth and not bumpy offcut chunks like other camping pillows). it's a great compromise to give a firm unyielding air pillow some cushion & soft responsiveness. it still wasn't soft enough for my needs, so i sleep with the cocoon feather pillow on top. finally a magic combination that helps prevent a stiff neck.
Dislikes
the luxury version is, of course, wider and is not as easy to fit within a mummy sleeping bag.

Soft. Comfortable. Compact when deflated. I use it for sleeping and also sitting on cold and/or hard ground when glassing (hunting).

Price. A little heavier than necessary.

very comfortable. the added foam insert doesnt make you feel like your sleeping on a balloon.the extra weight is worth it.
