Refusing to be pigeon-holed, the NEMO Men's Persist 45L Endless Promise backpack is a do-it-all technical adventure pack. Burly construction, a ventilated suspension, and an array of features equip it for hiking, climbing, or even snowsports.

Description

Durable, water-resistant construction that's also recyclable: Making a recyclable backpack required NEMO to create a product that's almost entirely made from a single material family. This mono-polymer approach led to the development of the bag's main CERO fabric, a solution-dyed mono-polymer made entirely of recycled (and recyclable) PET. It also has a high tear strength and more built-in water resistance than traditional pack fabrics.
Comfortable suspension engineered to move with you: The pack's contoured back panel has recycled and recyclable cushioning positioned at the heaviest sweat zones to wick away moisture and help dissipate body heat. A lightweight spring steel frame enhances stability and load-hauling capability. Wide, flexible shoulder straps conform closely to your body for immediate and long-lasting comfort. A padded, adjustable hipbelt, an adjustable sternum strap, and load-lifter straps also enhance fit and overall stability.
Technical performance-focused organization and features: The large main compartment is accessed from beneath a protective top lid that provides additional storage. The lid can be removed entirely when not needed to save weight. An integrated storm collar with a drawstring closure keeps the contents of the pack secure when the lid has been removed. You can also reach the interior of the pack through a large vertical side zip entry. Side pockets, a zippered hipbelt pocket, and up-front harness pockets provide numerous organizational options to keep gear at the ready. An additional deployable hipbelt pocket grants quick and easy access to a water bottle (bottle not included). There are a number of different attachment points for lashing gear externally and multi-configurable compression straps help to secure anything you strap to the outside of the pack while also stabilizing internal contents.
NEMO takes full responsibility for all Endless Promise products: In addition to the recycled construction of the CERO fabrics in the body and CCubed cushioning, NEMO's Endless Promise program aims to keep their products out of the landfill when they've reached the end of their useful life.
