Purchased this bag over a year ago because i was tired of being cold on winter camp outs. Amazed at how fast it gets warm once you are in it. 28 degree weather and comfortable in tshirt and shorts. Just purchased a second Riff 15 for my oldest son.

Comfort, warmth, quality, weight, plenty of room to move around for side sleepers

Wish the side zipper had a better system to keep it from getting caught/hung up, but once you learn the best way to zip it, it is mostly a non-issue.

Warm, roomy and soft

Great sleeping bag. Provides the warmth you need without the weight associated with other sleeping bag with similar temperature rating. Love how you dont feel claustrophobic like a typical mummy style bag. The fabric is great, very soft.
Dislikes
The down comes out sometime (not that often but it happens) just need to grab it from the inside to pull it back in. Other than that nothing to dislike.

Where have you been all my life? This bag has the movement and comfort missing in every mummy bag! I dig the color scheme too, because looking good is part of comfort. The baffles are great and WARM... Really dig the hood and the gills, as well as the blanket design. The pillow pocket is a nice feature as well. Its lightweight yet again, warm!! The zipper is well made too! and the stuff sack is perfect.

No formal foot openings at the bottom, but not really a big deal. MAYBE too warm... But thats not really a big deal either.

Lightweight, comfortable, and features that allow you to control the internal temp of the bag. The quality of the inner lining is spectacular. Feels great.

I'm not a fan of the classic mummy style sleeping bags on the market as I almost 100% sleep on my side. Nemo's "spoon shape" gives me a ton of space for my knees to bend so I don't have to sleep ridged. (being 6'5" and having space to bend my knees in a sleeping bag in unheard of) From my tests it's very warm even in low temperatures but I also use a high R-value sleeping pad

I have heard people complaining about the zipper snagging every 2 inches but so far in my use it rarely has snagged.

ONE OF THE BEST GEAR I HAVE PURCHASED

Purchased on sale at Backcountry Edge. By far this may be one of the most comfortable sleeping bags I have ever owned. Paired this sleeping bag with a 25" rectangular regular length pad (Nemo Tensor) and as a result this is the closest to sleeping in my own bed out in the woods. The bag did keep me warm on those cold nights. I slept on my back, stomach, side, tossed around and I had all the room in the world. Every feature this bag has from the spoon shape and even to the pillow pocket at the hood served its purpose. Would I purchase this bag again? Yes I would in a heartbeat! In fact, I am actually about to purchase the 30 degree bag for the warmer trips and as a backup for the family/friends that wants to tag along.

Because of all the features this bag has such as the spoon shape, hood and extra flap by the chest area the weight penalty comes into play. if my backpacking trip calls for some crazy mileage I start contemplating if I should bring my lighter Zpack bag or this one. It becomes a game of weight vs comfort.

Great sleeping bag!

I love having space to bend my legs without having to move the whole bag. I have been having trouble with leg cramps after a hard day’s hike and this bag gives me the room to bend and stretch and avoid them. Haven’t had one yet with this bag! It was a regular occurrence in my traditional shaped mummy bag. It also gave me the ability to pull my feet up off the bottom of the bag and keep them warmer on cold nights. Love the extras—the pillow pocket is cool, the thermal gills are great when it’s warm, and the blanket fold is awesome!

The bag was everything described. Light weight and compresses very small. Just what I was looking for. Headed on a backcountry elk hunt with it in September
