The NEMO Tango Duo Slim offers two sleepers luxury without a lot of weight. It uses a quilt-like backless design of a quilt to save ounces but provides space with a rectangular cut.

Description

The NEMO Tango Duo Slim offers two sleepers luxury without a lot of weight. It uses a quilt-like backless design of a quilt to save ounces but provides space with a rectangular cut.

The double-wide quilt is insulated with 650 fill hydrophobic down. That means the down clusters resist moisture longer than untreated down and dry faster when they do get wet. The down is also PFC-free and certified with the 100% Responsible Down Standard (RDS) recognized for traceability throughout the supply chain. The interior of the quilt is lined with comfortable 30 denier nylon taffeta. The outer shell is 20 denier ripstop nylon treated with a DWR coating. The footbox is reinforced with 40 denier waterproof/breathable fabric.

Despite its generous cut, the quilt weighs less than three pounds. Trapezoidal sculpting reduces dead air space and helps to decrease wasted warmth. For optimal comfort and warmth, pair the Tango Duo Slim with two 20" wide sleeping pads (sold separately).

The NEMO Tango Duo Slim includes a compression stuff sack and a pad slipcover which is soft and washable.

Soufflé for Two

Like sleeping in a beautiful soufflé. The quilt, sleeping pad case, and hood are three separate, detachable pieces and allow for some comfort customization. The double quilt is lighter than most single bags, and the loft is fluffier than expected. With two people, this is pretty comfortable at low temps. It’s the perfect amount of space for a couple, even two side-sleepers. It was hard to disentangle my girlfriend from her cozy cocoon when it was time to pack up.

Dislikes

The sleeping pad case that comes with it weighs almost as much as the bag, but it’s easily detached and can be left at home - not a real con.
