Who hasn't had fun in the backyard with a glow stick? The Nite Ize Radiant Rechargeable LED Glow Stick Disc-O Select brings that fun along on camping and backpacking trips while also proving to be a surprisingly functional source of illumination.

Unlike traditional disposable glow sticks, this high-quality LED version can be recharged over and over again. There are no chemicals to worry about or batteries to replace. The lightweight, sturdy body holds up to repeated use and the battery powers back up in approximately 1.25 hours with the use of a micro USB cable (not included).

There are three different color settings as well as its namesake Disco-O mode which cycles through the colors. There's also a flashing red mode that allows for use as a safety device. An integrated lockout mode prevents unwanted battery drain.

There are practically unlimited uses for this little light stick. When camping, we’ll use it as a beacon to mark something in the dark, such as the location of a hung bear bag, a potential tripping hazard, or the entrance to the tent. If nothing needs lit for visibility, it becomes a fun decoration- hanging on a hammock or from a tarp. I also like to keep it in the car for roadside safety or have on hand in case of a power outage. I even clip it to a backpack when biking or to keep track of my keys!
