The Counter Assault Bear Keg Food Container is a lightweight and spacious option for safely carrying and storing food while backpacking in national parks or backcountry areas where bears are prevalent. The highly visible container is constructed of an extremely durable, bear-resistant, proprietary polymer blend that can store 6 to 8 days worth of food for one person.

Weighing approximately 3.5 pounds and boasting 716 cubic inches of capacity, the Bear Keg Food Canister offers reliable peace of mind that your food is safe without adding a lot of weight to your pack. The lid is secured with three low profile latches that can be easily opened and closed with a coin or key.

Designed to meet U.S. Forest Service specifications and certified by the Interagency Grizzly Bear Committee and the Sierra Interagency Black Bear Group, the Counter Assault Bear Keg Food Canister is suitable for use in ALL national parks.
